WATERPERRY, a parish in the hundred of BULLINGTON, county of OXFORD, 5¾ miles (W.) from Thame, containing 242 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Oxford, rated in the king's books at £8. 1. 5½., endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £500 parliamentary grant, and in the patronage of Joseph Henley, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
