DUNSTEW, a parish in the hundred of WOOTTON, county of OXFORD, 2½ miles (S.S.W.) from Deddington, containing 460 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Oxford, rated in the king's books at £8. 2. 8¼. Sir H. W. Dashwood, Bart. was patron in 1794. The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
