BROUGHTON-POGGS, a parish in the hundred of BAMPTON, county of OXFORD, 5¼ miles (S. by W.) from Burford, containing 114 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Oxford, rated in the king's books at £7. 7. 11., and in the patronage of the Rev. S. Goodenough. The church is dedicated to St. Peter.
